Residential LED Streetlight Demonstration

n Monday, May 14, Chevron will be installing three light emitting diode (LED) streetlights in the decorative lighting fixtures in the Dublin Ranch neighborhood along Antone Way adjacent to Ted Fairfield Park. This project will allow Staff to see how LED lightning will work within a residential setting, and more precisely, how effective LED lighting is within decorative fixtures.

Staff chose the area along Antone Way next to Ted Fairfield Park because there is no housing that directly faces the streetlight test, thereby minimizing any impact to residents.

Additionally, Staff has sent letters to the homes within the immediate area informing them of the project and gave them contact information to report any comments or concerns that may arise from the new lighting.
