Regal Cinemas enhances Recycling

Over the past few months, Staff from Amador Valley Industries (AVI) has been working closely with management at Regal Cinemas to establish and enhance recycling opportunities at the movie theater. City of Dublin Staff met with Regal Management today and was pleased to find out that the theater has installed 14 new recycling containers within the facility with collection points in the main lobby and at other locations throughout the building. This is a great start to ramping up recycling efforts at one of the City’s most popular businesses. City of Dublin Staff will continue to provide resources and technical assistance to Regal Cinemas to build out the recycling infrastructure within the facility overtime.

This Week at the Farmer’s Market

Join us for a great night of food, wine, and entertainment at this “First Thursday” at the Dublin Farmers’ Market! In addition to finding the freshest in California-grown produce, come out and enjoy the music of “The Groove Kings,” who will perform in the plaza at Emerald Glen Park from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Plus, enjoy a sampling of wines from some of our local vintners, including Concannon Vineyards, Darcie Kent Vineyards, and Dublin’s own Kissos Winery. The Lion’s Club will be on hand to sell tickets for the wine tastings.
For $10.00, patrons will be able to purchase a souvenir City of Dublin wine glass and five tickets for tastings. Additional tasting tickets can be purchased for $1.00 each.

Special thanks to the Specific Chiropractic Center, Comcast, Koboda Dental, Koko FitClub, and the Palo Alto Medical Foundation for sponsoring the Dublin Farmers’ Market!
