OLDER DRIVER SAFETY:

Become More Informed and Active
at the Dublin Library
Thursday, January 21, at 1:30 p.m.
 

Take charge of your driving safety!  Join us for an educational program where you will:

  • Learn what you can do to maintain your driving skills
  • Know when and how to change your driving behaviors to stay safe
  • Understand what’s involved with license renewal and DMV re-examinations
  • Obtain information about alternative community transportation resources and prepare a back-up plan for when you are no longer able to drive

 Speakers: COLLEEN CAMPBELL, Senior Injury Prevention Coordinator,  Alameda County Public Health Dept., VERONICA CONLEY, Community Outreach Ombudsman, Department of Motor Vehicles, as well as representatives from community transportation programs.

This FREE program is for older adults, their family members and service providers.  The program is from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.  No reservations are required and refreshments will be provided.

Co-sponsored:  by the Alameda County Library Older Adult Services, the Alameda County Public Health Department, Alameda County Transportation Improvement Authority, Department of Motor Vehicles and the Tri-City Elder Coalition.

The Dublin Library is located at 200 Civic Plaza, and is wheelchair accessible.  To request accommodations for library-sponsored events, contact branch library at least 6 working days prior to event.
