Upcoming Community Events
There is still time to register for some of the City’s popular summer events, which are approaching quickly. Looking for something fun to do on Father’s Day? On Sunday, June 20, Dublin’s annual Father’s Day Picnic will be held at Emerald Glen Park. It’s easy, you provide your food and we provide the fun games, crafts, contests, Bingo and more! The cost is only $2 per person for Dublin residents and $3 for non-residents. Then on Tuesday, June 22, the City will host the 3rd Annual Dublin Community Golf Tournament at Dublin Ranch. This intergenerational tournament encourages participation by teens, adults and seniors to raise funds for the Youth Recreation Fee Assistance program. Registration fees are affordable and include the scramble (or best-ball) tournament, fun contests, dinner and a silent auction with great prizes.
It’s time to get out the sleeping bags, tent and flashlights for Dublin’s popular Family Camp Out at Alamo Creek Park. The event will be held July 10-11 and has sold out for the past three years. The cost is $15 per person for Dublin residents and $17 for non-residents, and includes games, crafts, campfire, dinner and breakfast. You can register for any of these activities at www.DublinRecGuide.com or by visiting the Shannon Community Center. For more information please call 925-556-4500.
