This drop-in program allows participants to register for eight weeks or for a one-week session at a designated park. Activities include arts ’n crafts, games, sports, swimming, excursions and special events. Program sites include Emerald Glen, Kolb and Shannon Parks.
NEW! A Summer Fitness Hour has been incorporated into Fun in the Sun! There will be stretching, cardiovascular exercise, nutrition education and active games and activities every day.
Glen the Guide Nature Day Camp
Glen the Guide Nature Day Camp is for children who seek a dynamic, fun, educational and “green” summer camp experience. This camp will emphasize nature, biology, ecology, geology, and provide your child with a summer filled with educational and interactive learning experiences through hands-on play, interpretive hikes, lectures, and exploration of the East Bay Regional Park District’s many parks.
