Free Sandbags for Dublin Residents

In preparation for the winter storm season, which has currently brought a significant amount of precipitation to the Dublin community, the City of Dublin has established a self-service sandbag pickup location at the City’s corporation yard at 5777 Scarlet Court.
Pre-filled sandbags are placed on a palette next to the corporation yard entrance gate, which residents can take free of charge to curtail or prevent flooding around their property. Over the past weekend, approximately 60 sandbags were taken for use.
It is requested residents and businesses take only what they need as only limited daily quantities are available. For any questions, please contact the Public Works Department at (925) 833-6630.
