The Dublin San Ramon Services District has turned to its past to help it navigate through the future. After a near two-hour meeting that included four rounds of voting and several discussions, the district’s board of director voted unanimously to appoint former director Georgean Vonheeder-Leopold to the seat left vacant by the death of Thomas Ford in June. Vonheeder-Leopold last served on the board from 1991 to 2000 and was one of eight candidates who applied and who were interviewed Tuesday for the vacancy.
