Trustee John Ledahl Resigns

The Dublin Unified School District announces the resignation of Trustee John Ledahl, effective August 10, 2010.  In a letter to the Board of Trustees, district Superintendent Dr. Stephen Hanke, and Alameda County Superintendent Shelia Jordan, Mr. Ledahl cited personal family, health, and employment reasons for his decision.  Mr. Ledahl served as Trustee for the district nearly 10 years, from 1994-1998 and again from 2004-2010.

Mr. Ledahl said, “I’ve seen many changes in Dublin Schools; from our first technology networks emerging to our world class Dublin High School…I leave with many fond memories of people that I have worked with over the years.  I will especially remember the smiling faces of children every age, color and background as they shared their experiences with me.”

The Board of Trustees will begin the process of replacing Mr. Ledahl immediately.
